D & S Forensic Investigations consists of De Wet Ferreira (CFE), Managing Director and a number of independent investigators and auditors practicing as Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE’s) and experts in their respective fields, and as a team has more than 80 years’ experience in the prevention, investigation and detection of fraud, corruption and other crimes.

The company and the investigators pride themselves in being professional, being thorough, and ensuring good governance in accordance to the South African legislation, the International Code of Ethics and Professional Standards of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

De Wet Ferreira aims to lead his team to provide a professional, quick and efficient network of resources to any client that requires his services, in order to determine the truth regarding a specific incident or incidents they wish to have investigated and to provide a detailed report with findings and recommendations to address the concerns of the client.

De Wet as a board member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners South African Chapter (ACFESA) has extensive experience in the Infrastructure Development Industry in South Africa, and regularly provides training and presentations to various industries regarding current trends and syndicate investigations.  De Wet has the personal drive, passion and enthusiasm to conduct investigations and follow through the entire process from disciplinary to criminal hearing, to recover whatever losses were suffered in order to rectify the deficiencies in the system and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
